I'm David Matney, and I'm proud to call Omaha, Nebraska, my hometown. Growing up in this vibrant city, I developed a strong connection to its history and culture. The stories of Omaha's past always fascinated me, and this fascination would later play a significant role in my career.

After college at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, I had the honor of serving in the United States Marine Corps, an experience that instilled in me a deep sense of duty and integrity. Following my military service, I embarked on my journey in the real estate industry, obtaining my license in 2003. Over the years, I've honed my skills and earned an associate broker's license, becoming a trusted expert in the field. In 2013, I had the privilege of serving as the President of the Omaha Area Board of Realtors, and in 2015, I was humbled to receive the title of OABR Realtor of the Year.

In addition to my real estate career, I find immense joy in hosting the "Living in Omaha" YouTube channel, where I share insights about buying and selling real estate and all things Omaha, including its rich history and vibrant culture. When I'm not working or exploring Omaha, I enjoy traveling and fishing. I'm also a devoted husband and father, blessed with a loving family that includes my wife and two sons. With my unique blend of expertise, passion for history, and commitment to my community, I continue to make a meaningful impact in the world of real estate right here in Omaha, Nebraska.
